Smart Refill is a solar-powered liquid refilling machine that allows users to use their own reusable bottles or paper cups, helping to reduce plastic packaging waste.
The project supports businesses in fulfilling their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations under Decree 08 in the context of implementing the 2020 Law on Environmental Protection, which took effect on January 1, 2024. At the same time, it encourages the community to adopt consumption habits that minimize plastic packaging waste by reducing single-use packaging and promoting the reuse of containers for household liquid products in Vietnam. Notably, the project fosters the development of new business models — a green supply chain — in line with the current green and circular economy trends in Vietnam.
Specifications: Smart Refill features a compact, lightweight, and flexible design, integrated with a solar panel roof. It can hold at least 600 products and provide 500 liters of clean, safe drinking water, meeting the hygiene and quality standards of current beverage suppliers in the market.

Built on Internet of Things (IoT) technology, the system offers personalized services tailored to customer needs while ensuring effective supply chain management.
