VNU-SIS Contributes to Hanoi’s Innovation Ecosystem and Sustainable Development

A research product developed by Dr. Bui Thi Thanh Huong from the Department of Climate Change and Sustainability Science, VNU School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts (VNU-SIS), together with her research team, has been honored by Hanoi People’s Committee as one of the Top 8 outstanding solutions in science & technology, innovation, and digital transformation in 2025 among universities in the capital. The recognition was announced at the Mid-term Review Conference of the Central Steering Committee for the implementation of Resolution No. 57.

Guided by the philosophy of “Digitalizing green behaviors – Personalizing ecological education,” the VNNETZERO platform helps transform schools into spaces for innovation and green entrepreneurship, where students can actively practice low-carbon lifestyles and emission-reduction culture. The project has been piloted at Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and has since expanded to several localities, including Hai Phong, Ha Long, and Lao Cai, gradually supporting Vietnamese educational institutions in approaching Global Ecoschool standards.

This achievement further affirms VNU’s pioneering role in connecting research, education, and innovation, making practical contributions to the sustainable development goals of the Capital and the country as a whole.
